Butter + Bow Return & Exchange Policy
At Butter + Bow, we put care into every detail—from the finest ingredients to our elegant packaging—so that every gift feels special. While we hope you love your order, we understand that sometimes things don’t work out. We’re happy to offer a 14-day return policy for eligible items.
Returns & Eligibility
You have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return. To be eligible:
- Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
- Perishable items (cookies and confections), custom products (personalized or corporate orders), and personal care items (bath products, aromatherapy rollers) cannot be returned for safety and freshness reasons.
- A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.
If the item was received as a gift, we can offer store credit or an exchange instead of a refund.
To start a return, email us at support@butterandbow.com, and we’ll guide you through the process. Returns must be sent to:

If approved, we’ll send a return shipping label along with instructions. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
Gift Returns
If you received a Butter + Bow gift and need to exchange it or return it for store credit, please email us with the gift giver’s name or order number so we can assist you. Refunds for gift returns will be issued as store credit.
Damages & Order Issues
We take great care in packaging, but if your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we’ll make it right.
Email us within 48 hours of delivery at support@butterandbow.com with:
- A photo of the item and packaging
- A brief description of the issue
We’ll work quickly to replace or refund your order.
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on:
- Perishable goods (cookies, confections, or other edible items)
- Custom or personalized orders (including special corporate gifts)
- Personal care products (such as bath items and aromatherapy rollers)
- Sale items and gift cards
If you have questions about a specific product, feel free to reach out before purchasing.
Exchanges
If you’d like to exchange an item, the quickest way is to:
- Initiate a return for the original item.
- Place a new order for the item you’d like.
Once your return is received and approved, we’ll process a refund or issue store credit.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of its approval status.
- If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
- Please note that banks and credit card providers may take additional time to process the refund.
If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you haven’t received your refund, please contact us at support@butterandbow.com.
