The journey of Butter + Bow Cookie Co. is a deeply personal one. Growing up in a Chinese family that loved to host, cook and bake, I’ve always been inspired by food’s ability to tell stories and bring people together.

Every cookie tells a story. Our signature brown butter chocolate chip cookie, studded with Guittard super cookie chips and finished with Maldon sea salt, carries a family legacy—it’s a recipe from my sister, a pastry chef trained in San Francisco, and owner of Dolce e Salato, a cookie shop in Hangzhou, China.
